Happy NaNoWriMo!

Happy November 1st! Also, for those writers out there, happy first day of National Novel Writing Month! As one does, I decided last minute that I was going to participate in NaNoWriMo despite not needing to start any new projects. So a fellow writer friend suggested using this month to work on blogs. What did my brain decide? Why not blog every single day in November? Obviously, that’s a great idea, considering I can’t even keep to my Monday, Wednesday, and Friday schedule now.

For those unfamiliar, National Novel Writing Month consists of writing 50k in one month. The idea is to have the 1st draft of a novel complete in this time!As one does, I decided last minute that I was going to participate in NaNoWriMo despite not needing to start any new projects. As one does, I decided last minute that I was going to participate in NaNoWriMo despite not needing to start any new projects (because I’m already revising three). So a fellow writer friend suggested using this month to work on writing blogs. What did my brain decide? Why not blog every single day in November? Obviously, that’s a great idea, considering I can’t even keep to my Monday, Wednesday, and Friday schedule now.

I’m the Queen of Stressing Myself Out though. I think I have a fear of not feeling stressed out that I just love to add more to my plate than I should, but you know what? This will be fun! I’m excited, at least!

So what can you expect from me in November?

  • Book Reviews (I have a lot backlogged)
  • Journal-like entries of what I’m up to
  • I have two surprises that’ll be released this month
  • Sneak peaks of projects I’m working on
  • Possibly some short writing prompts–for me and you
  • Writing tips: on revising, surviving nano, writing sprints
  • Self-Care posts: I have a few lined up for anxiety-based posts, but also self-care around the holiday’s and stressful times, like participating in NaNo when you really don’t have the time.

If there’s anything, in particular, you’d love to see, let me know! I’m always open to suggestions!

For those participating, good luck! I’m rooting for you! For those who aren’t, enjoy your month of November! I hope it’s relaxing!
